The Rotterdam Ophthalmic Institute (ROI) coordinates and supports all scientific research activities at the Rotterdam Eye Hospital. At the Rotterdam Eye Hospital, we work closely with orthoptists and ophthalmologists. The ROI coordinates collaboration with partner centers, Jeroen Bosch Hospital in Den Bosch and ETZ Hospital in Tilburg.
Dr. Bas Rokers is an Associate Professor and Director of the Neuroimaging Center at New York University Abu Dhabi. His research focuses on the neural basis of visual perception, with an emphasis on motion and depth perception. He has held visiting positions at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and New York University.
